Two Mizzou men's basketball players have been ruled out of the Tigers’ season opener on gameday.
Missouri forward Trent Pierce and wing Annor Boateng have been ruled out of the Tigers’ Monday night game against Howard in Washington, D.C. , per a team news release.
Both players have lower-body injuries. It was immediately unclear if either is expected to miss significant time.
After hitting the hardwood early and seemingly hurting his wrist in Mizzou’s exhibition win over Kansas State on Oct. 24, Mark Mitchell was another player whose status was unclear this game. Since he was not included on the team's pregame availability report, he is currently expected to play.
