ELYRIA, Ohio – Three people were arrested Thursday after police executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Hodge Court, part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

During the search, detectives from Elyria Police Department’s Special Response Team and Narcotics and Investigative Units seized suspected heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, Xanax, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency, according to a department news release.

Tyrell Hicks, Carla Polk and Lauren Wood were taken into custody. All three had active warrants through other agencies and were transported to the Lorain County Jail, where they remain held without bond pending their initial court appearances.
