Thirteen Watertown and Aberdeen Central athletes have been named to the first All-Eastern South Dakota Conference Competitive Cheer and Dance teams.

The squads were selected by the league's coaches .

All-conference cheer performers include senior Sadie Johnson and sophomores Avery Meyer and Emory Whetsel of Watertown; and seniors Tabitha Beyers and Sophia Blanchard and juniors Addyson Pettigrew and Alexis Johnson of Aberdeen Central.

Juniors Ashlynn Andrews, Kendra Buchholz, Kailyn and Kamryn Nordquist and Adriene Schulz of Watertown and sophomore Meleana Hagenson of Aberdeen Central.

Harrisburg won the ESD cheer title for the eighth-straight year and Brandon Valley the ESD dance championship for a third-straight. Watertown took third (cheer) and sixth (dance) and Aberdeen Central
