GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- One person is in the hospital after a shooting in Greensboro on Monday night, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 09:24 p.m., Greensboro officers responded to the 1200 block of East Bessemer Avenue when they were told about an unknown problem/person down.

Arriving officers found someone who had been shot, and the victim was taken to a hospital.

No suspect information is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
