The big day is about here.
Tuesday is Election Day around Michigan, and voters in Southwest Michigan have plenty to decide.
Lake Michigan College is seeking two millage renewals, one to be reduced by 50% if approved. Also on the ballot are a $59 million bond proposal from St. Joseph Public Schools and an $8 million bond proposal from Eau Claire Public Schools. Communities including Niles, Niles Township, Royalton Township, and Weesaw Township will have their own ballot questions.
In Van Buren County a renewal of the Van Buren District Library millage is on the ballot.
There are also city races being decided in St. Joseph, Benton Harbor, South Haven, Hartford, and Gobles.
