AAA reminds drivers of fall road hazards

As fall settles in the days get even shorter, AAA has some reminders about traffic hazards that can make roads more dangerous.

From unpredictable weather to increased wildlife activity, November presents unique challenges that demand extra caution, says AAA’s Adrienne Woodland.

“ Rain and the fallen leaves can create slippery roads, reducing your traction and increasing stopping distance,” Woodland said. “ So it’s really important if you’re on the rain slick roads with the leaves that you reduce your speed to increase safety.”
