LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - Lawrence County is grieving the loss of Cole Daniel and Keenan Honeycutt, two 9-year-old boys who passed away after an ATV accident near Chesapeake on Sunday.

One of Keenan’s coaches, Jason Maddy said, “I mean, this has impacted our whole community. I don’t think any of us has slept very well, and I definitely know the parents ain’t sleeping.”

After the incident, Cole’s parents Garrett and Chloe Daniel gave WSAZ a statement saying, “Cole was a kindhearted bright young boy. From the moment he entered our life he was a blessing. He survived open heart surgery at age 3. Strong would be an understatement to describe Cole. His personality touched each person he encountered.
