WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Ascension Via Christi has gifted $100,000 to Wichita's Guadalupe Clinic.

The money was added to the clinic's $1.76 million Campaign Care initiative.

"This donation is going to get us far down the road in terms of raising our $1.7 million to remodel the clinic," David Sanford, the chairman of the board of directors of the Guadalupe Clinic, said.

The clinic wants to add six new patient rooms, along with some basic dental services, as part of its effort to expand healthcare services for uninsured and underserved people in the city.
