The Hawaii Foodbank has announced several more food distribution events on Oahu for individuals and families affected by the government shutdown, including federal employees, contractors, and anyone experiencing disruptions to SNAP or other federal nutrition benefits.

The list of food distribution sites include:

>> Tuesday: Inspire Church at Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park, 94-801 Kamehameha Highway in Waipahu, from 9-10 a.m. Walk-up and drive-thru will be available, and registration is open but may fill up quickly.

>> Wednesday : Windward Community College, Hale ‘Akoakoa, 45-720 Kea’ahala Road in Kaneohe, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be food for 500 households and registration is open.

>> Friday: Hawaiian Airlines ‘Ohana Hangar (off Lagoon Drive) from 8 a.m. to 10 a
