CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State's Josiah Lake Li's layup with 2 seconds remaining helped the Beavers to a 67-65 win over North Dakota State in nonconference Division I men's basketball on Monday.

The Bison grabbed a one-point lead with 2:17 to play on a layup by Markhi Strickland but missed its final four shots down the stretch, including Andy Stefonowicz's potential game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Strickland finished with 17 points and Treyson Anderson came off the bench to add 10 for NDSU.

Stefonowicz led the Bison with seven rebounds. The Bison outrebounded the Beavers 36-33.

NDSU was 6 of 31 from 3-point range with Damari Wheeler-Thomas going 2-for-4 for his six points.

Noah Feddersen and Stefonowicz each finished with nine points.

Isaiah Sy led Oregon State with 12 points.
