LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

No. 11 Louisville men's basketball started the regular season opener against South Carolina State with a 13-0 run, a preview of what was to come the rest of the night.

Louisville led 59-15 at the half, shooting 51% from the field and 42% from behind the arc. Making it rain from deep was Isaac McKneely who sank four of eight three pointers.

The Cardinals' defense held South Carolina State to three of 29 from the field in the first half, and the Bulldogs didn't make a single three-pointer.

Louisville didn't let up in the second half, pouring on another 45 points. The Cards would go on to win 104-45.

Coming off the bench for Louisville, Khani Rooths was the leading scorer with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. McKneely finished with 17 points and four rebounds.
