Travellers have been caught up in airport chaos as a section of the ceiling at Sydney's International terminal collapsed on Monday night.
Severe storms smashed across Sydney last night after a fast-moving spring storm cell brought hail, heavy rain, thunder, and damaging winds to NSW.
On Monday around 8pm, the damage spread to Sydney Airport with part of the ceiling falling through near the security screening area.
A Sydney Airport spokesperson told SkyNews.com.au: “Due to a storm cell near the airport, yesterday 3 November, some flight departures and arrivals were delayed during the evening.
"Sydney Airport remains open and operational, and additional staff have been deployed to assist passengers. With the potential for knock-on delays, passengers are advised to check with their airlin
