A woman affiliated with Rutgers University was reportedly inappropriately touched by a man on Halloween at the Livingston Campus.
The woman was approached from behind by the man while she was at the Livingston Retail Area on Joyce Kilmer Avenue around 5:15 p.m. when he made “unwanted contact with an intimate area,” Rutgers Police said in a statement .
The retail area comprises a movie theater and several retail businesses, including a Starbucks.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident, police said.
The man accused of touching her was described by police as being a white male between 18 and 25, between 5-feet, 8-inches and 5-feet, 9-inches tall, with blonde hair and a stubble beard.
