LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Las Vegas Valley residents looking to help their community during the gap in SNAP benefits have several options for donating food to local organizations.
The easiest way is through Instacart . The app has waived delivery and service fees for all food donations to more than 300 food banks and pantries nationwide, including Three Square in the valley. The grocery delivery app makes it easy for people to give food to non-profits without leaving their homes.
Those who prefer to pack their own donations can deliver items directly to Three Square’s main campus at 4190 N. Pecos Road, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The organization only accepts non-perishable items.
The Salvation Army is also accepting food donations. You can drop them off between 8:30
