CINCINNATI (WXIX) - We now know the identity of a 76-year-old man killed when a semi crashed into his broken down car Monday.
The crash shut down the eastbound lanes of the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway in Sycamore Township for several hours.
Sukanta Panda of West Chester Township died at Bethesda North Hospital shortly after he was transported there from the crash scene, according to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
Panda’s 2018 Lexus was parked on the right shoulder of the highway with a flat tire shortly before 12:30 p.m. when the 2021 Peterbilt tractor trailer struck it, sheriff’s officials have said.
The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the right side of the highway.
