About that time Ballarat publican David Canny, a part-owner of the champion stayer, visibly winced as caller Matt Hill declared Half Yours trailed tearaway leader Land Legend by 25 lengths, bouncing up and down on his feet in a bid to spot the McEvoy-trained gelding drifting further from the front.
