EAST RUTHERFORD - The New York Giants are in an unfortunate yet familiar position as the NFL trade deadline approaches Tuesday at 4 p.m.

For the third straight year, Brian Daboll's team is 2-7. The circumstances feel somewhat different because of the presence of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, even if that doesn't take the sting out of their lackluster performance on the field and the scoreboard the past three weeks.
