A man was left in a 'potentially life-threatening condition' following a 'serious' crash on the M6 overnight.

Emergency services were called to a collision involving a van and a pedestrian on the southbound carriageway at around 11.40pm on Monday, November 3.

Medics arrived at the scene, between J13 (Stafford) and J12 ( Cannock ), and found a man in a 'potentially life-threatening condition'.

He was given trauma care at the scene and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital.
