Heavy metal legends Metallica have touched down in Adelaide, with tens of thousands of fans hot on their heels, lining up in long queues to snag some unique mementos.
A pop-up store on Currie Street, which is open for just three days, has become a focal point for fans seeking limited-edition memorabilia.
"We're literally here the day before the show, show day and the day after and then we're out to the next city," Chris Barber from the merch store said.
"So you've gotta be in and out…
"If you miss it, then you miss it!"
A significant draw is the availability of limited-edition posters, specific to each city on the tour. These posters, when placed together, form a complete mural.
