Trent Alexander-Arnold has made clear his feelings on facing Liverpool tonight in the Champions League with a simple one-word message to fans.

The right-back is back in England following his controversial move to Real Madrid over the summer , which angered a section of the Reds' fanbase to the extent that he was booed during his final appearances for his boyhood club.

Alexander-Arnold's contract had expired which meant Liverpool were not due a transfer fee for one of the world's best right-backs, though Madrid did eventually agree to pay around £8.4m so Alexander-Arnold could play for them in the Club World Cup in June.
