New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today to discuss critical development and infrastructure initiatives aimed at accelerating growth in the northeastern state.
The meeting was confirmed through a social media post by the Prime Minister’s Office on platform X.
The discussions come as PM Modi prepares for his upcoming visit to Sikkim, where he is set to inaugurate projects worth over Rs 750 crore in celebration of the state’s 50th anniversary.
Highlighted projects include a new 500-bed district health center in Namchi, a passenger ropeway at Sangachoeling in Pelling, and the unveiling of a statue of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Atal Amrit Udyan in Gangtok.
