GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) -- Municipal election day is Tuesday, November 4th, across South Carolina.

Election officials say these local elections have the biggest impact on your everyday life but say turnout is usually low. They're hoping that's different this year.

Polling places will be open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. And about 75% of Greenville County voters will have something on the ballot.

"Those people that are elected affect your taxes, so the idea is to at least have a voice in who's going to spend your tax dollars," said Conway Belangia, Director of Voter Registration and Elections in Greenville County.
