After a much chillier start to the day Tuesday morning, sunny skies will support a big swing into the upper 70s and low 80s by the afternoon.
Dry air in the mid-levels of the atmosphere will keep skies mainly clear and humidity low and comfortable throughout the day.
Highs look to climb near, or just above, average to 82° in downtown Tampa. A warming trend begins today and highs will continue to increase through the rest of the week ahead, eventually reaching 85° by Friday. This warming trend will be accompanied by increasing humidity through the end of this week as well.
Our next cold front, and next best chance of rain, looks to arrive late in the weekend around Sunday into Monday, bringing a big winter chill towards Tuesday.
