With a whole day's worth of games already in the books, the 2025-26 men's college basketball season is officially underway. But as early-season action continues, some fans will not be able to watch select games due to the ongoing carrier dispute between Disney and YouTube TV.

Disney pulled all its content — including ABC and the ESPN family of networks like — from YouTube TV last week as it was unable to come to a new deal with Google, the parent company of YouTube.

The first marquee college basketball game that will be impacted by the blackout is the Dick Vitale Invitational game between No. 5 Duke and Texas at 8:45 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Blue Devils-Longhorns game is just one of several highly anticipated games taking place in the opening week of the season that will be blacked out on YouTube TV unless Disney and Google can come to a new carrier rights contract agreement. Other games to be impacted include a top-25 matchup between No. 19 Kansas and No. 25 North Carolina, Oklahoma vs. No. 20 Gonzaga and Indiana vs. Marquette.

Here's what to know about Disney and Google's carrier dispute, including how to watch college basketball games throughout the week set to appear on the ESPN family of networks:

Did YouTube TV lose Disney-owned networks?

Google and Disney were unable to come to a new contract agreement by the 11:59 p.m. ET deadline on Oct. 30 that would have kept Disney-owned networks on YouTube TV. Disney has since removed its networks, including ABC and ESPN, from YouTube TV.

In a blog post on Oct. 30, YouTube TV claimed Disney used "a threat of a blackout on YouTube TV as a negotiating tactic" in their talks that would "raise prices on our customers." It also mentioned that if Disney-owned content remains off YouTube TV for "an extended period of time," it will give a $20 credit to subscribers.

"We know this is a frustrating and disappointing outcome for our subscribers and we continue to urge Disney to work with us constructively to reach a fair agreement that restores their networks to YouTube TV," the blog post read. "If their content remains off YouTube TV for an extended period of time, we’ll offer subscribers a $20 credit."

Disney accused Google of "using its market dominance to eliminate competition and undercut the industry-standard terms we’ve successfully negotiated with every other distributor."

What channels are no longer on YouTube TV?

Here's the list of Disney-owned channels pulled from YouTube TV:
