NEW DELHI: Teenage batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi marked his India A call-up in style, smashing a blistering 93 off just 67 balls in Bihar’s Ranji Trophy clash against Meghalaya on Tuesday. The 14-year-old’s knock, studded with nine fours and four sixes, showcased his fluent strokeplay before he fell just seven runs short of a well-deserved century. Suryavanshi was eventually dismissed for 93 by Meghalaya spinner Bijon Dey. Earlier, Meghalaya had posted a strong 408/7 declared in their first innings, powered by Ajay Duha’s 129 and Swastic’s 94.
