CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person died and another was left fighting for their life after a serious crash in west Charlotte on Tuesday.
The Nov. 4 wreck happened shortly after 4 a.m. near the intersection of and Revolution Park Drive, which is right at the Dr. Charles L. Sifford golf course.
Only one vehicle -- a white car -- appeared to have been involved in the crash. That car was left with significant damage to the front end and passenger side, and had its airbags deployed.
Medic confirmed that the one person died, and said the other was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was not immediately clear how the crash happened.
Officials have not yet publicly released the name of the person who died.
