Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hinted on Monday that the team had made a trade, and we now know which player they have acquired.
The Cowboys have agreed to a deal that will send longtime Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson to Dallas, ESPN's Adam Schefter and Todd Archer reported on Tuesday. The Bengals had been seeking a late-round draft pick for Wilson, who is one of their defensive captains.
Jones said on Monday that the Cowboys had made a trade that would help the team "immediately." The 83-year-old also said he hoped to make a couple more moves before Tuesday's deadline. Those comments came before the Cowboys lost 27-17 at home to the Arizona Cardinals on "Monday Night Football."
