The long-running Festival of the Lake on the Our Lady of the Lake campus in Mandeville had to make adjustments for some rain that fell over the Oct. 24-26 weekend, but the weather wasn't bigger than the party. There was food, games, live music, activities for children and a performance by the school children. The event has been staged since 1982, and these old hands knew what to do when showers moved through.
