Srinagar, Nov 04: Continuing its unwavering crackdown on drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested four drug peddlers in Pulwama and Shopian; and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that in Pulwama, during naka checking at Gudoora Crossing, a police party intercepted two individuals carrying nylon bags. During search, about 7Kgs of Poppy Straw were recovered from their possession. They have been identified as Mohd Ashraf Naik, son of Gh. Ahmad Naik, resident of Ghat Gulzarpora and Abdul Qayoom Mir son of Wali Mohd Mir resident of Gudoora Pulwama.
