The New England Patriots have the most cap space in the NFL (roughly $51 million, per OverTheCap ). They currently own 10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. And they're tied for the NFL's best record at 7-2 after holding off the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

So, they have the resources and the motivation to add at the NFL trade deadline. But will they go big, or play it safe?
