Officials in New Jersey said that a rash of bomb threats made at polling places in Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Passaic counties caused many of them to briefly close.

Some, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said, in a statement, have already reopened and, at other impacted polling places, voters were being sent to nearby locations to cast their ballots.
