Seattle will honor one of its most beloved radio voices next week with a night of comedy, rock ’n’ roll and remembrance.

A celebration of life for longtime Seattle radio host Bob Rivers, who died March 11 at age 68 from complications of esophageal cancer, is set for Nov. 13 at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel’s Events Center. The memorial, open to the public, will also be a benefit for the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank and the Summer Stars Foundation, a Massachusetts performing arts camp that offers free arts programs for children from low-income families. Both charities were meaningful to Rivers. It will feature performances by bands Spike & The Impalers and Heart by Heart and comedian Andrew Rivers, his son.
