(PALMER LAKE, Colo.) — A new troll is coming to Colorado, but it will be a little different from the ones in Breckenridge and Victor — it's coming from a different artist.
A Monument artist, Jodie Bliss, has been asked to build a troll for the town of Palmer Lake. The goal is to place the creation under the pedestrian bridge that connects the town side of the lake over the train tracks to the lakeside.
While this troll comes after artist Thomas Dambo built the wooden trolls, Isak Heartstone in Breckenridge and Rita the Troll in Victor, Bliss, the owner of Bliss Studio Custom Metalwork, is using metals to piece together an 8-foot-tall troll.
Bliss spoke with FOX31's sister station, KXRM, as she worked on the troll, and said the town of Palmer Lake could leave its mark on the troll before
