Syracuse scored early in the first period when Cooper Flinton buried a rebound past Leevi Merilainen a little over five minutes into the game. But, Belleville answered back about three minutes later on the power play. Arthur Kaliyev pounded home his second goal of the season on a one-timer from the right circle, fed by Stephen Halliday.
