New Delhi: On November 5, 2025, Wednesday, the Indian stock markets will be closed for Gurpurab (Prakash Parv Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Jayanti). Both National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will observe a holiday tomorrow. Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Prakash Parv, is celebrated across the country as the birth anniversary of Sikhism’s first Guru Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This year this festival will be held on 5th November, due to which there will be no trading in the equity and equity derivative segments on Wednesday.
