The Baltimore Ravens will be adding some much-needed depth to their defensive line ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

Multiple sources reported on Monday evening that the Ravens were sending a conditional fifth-round draft pick, which could change to a fourth-round pick, to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for Titans' edge Dre'Mont Jones. The move comes amid the Ravens' struggling mightily on their defensive front, particularly in their pass rush. Baltimore, which racked up 54 sacks last season, has only managed 11 sacks through eight games this year.

Jones boasts 26 total tackles (13 solo) and 4.5 sacks this season for the Titans, and will hopefully be a solution for the team's pass rush issues. The Ravens have dealt with significant injuries along the interior defensive line, with Pro Bowler Nnamdi Madubuike suffering a neck injury that will keep him out for the season. At the same time, reserve Broderick Washington sustained an ankle injury, which requires surgery to repair. The Ravens also recently traded edge rusher Odafe Oweh to the Chargers to acquire safety Alohi Gilman, retooling the defense with a heavier focus on the secondary, leaving an even larger gap in the pass rush.

Jones, a former third-round NFL Draft selection and Ohio State alum, has spent a significant number of his snaps in the NFL as an interior defensive lineman but also has plenty of experience as an edge, and should prove a versatile solution to the two major weaknesses along the Ravens' defensive front this season.
