(FOX40.COM) — One person was hospitalized, and roads have been closed early Tuesday morning as authorities respond to a chemical leak.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, a forklift hit a pressure relief valve with a large scale of ammonia.
Fruitridge Road at Florin Perkins Road and Okinawa Street has been closed as crews investigate.
It was confirmed that at least one person was hospitalized for respiratory injuries.
