A local women's organization is holding an annual event this week.

The Business Women of Pocatello is hosting their annual 'Mix & Mingle' event Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Purpose Center in Pocatello.

It's a celebration to announce this year's grant winners.

They are giving away $15,000 dollars worth of grants to local women in business and women who are going to school for business.

There will be a silent auction, cocktail hour, dinner and entertainment.

This year's theme will be the 1940's.

Rachael Daniels, with Business Women of Pocatello, says the money raised from this year's event goes toward their grant fund for next year.
