AMES, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa Board of Regents has named Benjamin Houlton as one of the two finalists for Iowa State University’s next president.

The finalists are publicly meeting with campus community members this week.

Houlton’s forum will be from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday in Durham Great Hall at the ISU Memorial Union. It will also be livestreamed .

The second candidate’s information will be announced Wednesday ahead of the Thursday forum.

Houlton is currently the Dean of the Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He is also a professor in departments of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Global Development.
