: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Transport Sniawbhalang Dhar has stated that the state government is engaging with stakeholders on railway projects, aiming to reach a consensus before proceeding.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Dhar said that discussions are ongoing, and the government is committed to involving all stakeholders in the process.

Dhar said that the government needs to consult with the people, share ideas, and raise awareness about the projects, ensuring that everyone is on board before moving forward.

“So, it will take a little more time as it is not so easy,” he added.

Referring to the complexity and scale of the projects, Dhar said, “…unless and until everybody is on board it is not easy for the government to go ahead with such a big project.”
