MARTINSBURG — Capon Bridge Middle School visited the Martinsburg Roundhouse and Harpers Ferry to experience West Virginia history in person. A group of teachers brought approximately 60 students to the Martinsburg Roundhouse for a tour where they learned about the history of the building then rode the train over to Harpers Ferry.

The trip was organized by Discover Your Future and Business teacher Nancy Heavner. The Discover Your Future program is all about exploring different careers. Heavner explained that tourism is a big part of the program, as it gives students the chance to learn more about different opportunities throughout the state.
