CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WBOY) - Military members and veterans can get 50% off if they book a stay at a West Virginia state park this month.

Veterans can use the code VET50 to get half off of most cabin and lodge stays in the West Virginia State Parks system. The stays must be between now and March 16 and be booked by Nov. 30.

Stays at Stonewall Resort, Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley Resort state parks are not eligible for the discount, and the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas (Nov. 24-30 and Dec. 22-28) are considered "blackout dates."
