A singer-songwriter has canceled the remainder of his tour after he said he was assaulted outside his hotel.
Todd Snider, a musician from Oregon who incorporates elements of folk, rock, blues, alt country, and funk into his act, said he sustained severe injuries because of a “violent assault” that occurred outside of his hotel ahead of his show in Salt Lake City.
Snider, 59, called off the rest of his “High, Lonesome and Then Some” Tour dates for 2025.
“Todd will be unable to perform for an undetermined amount of time,” a statement posted to Instagram said.
“We deeply apologize for the cancellation and any inconvenience it causes. We appreciate your understanding as Todd receives needed medical treatment. We hope to have more information on new dates soon.”
