There were some stunning moves Tuesday ahead of the NFL trade deadline. But none were made by the New England Patriots.

The Patriots head into this weekend's showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a record of 7-2, tied for the top seed in the AFC. But before shifting their focus to the Bucs, the Patriots front office worked the phone lines on Tuesday as the NFL trade deadline fell at 4 p.m.

According to multiple reports, the Patriots did not make any trades on Tuesday.

First-year head coach Mike Vrabel said on Monday that the team's front office will be making calls ahead of the deadline.
