While the New England Patriots ' game against the Atlanta Falcons was expected to be a grind, few of the NFL pundits were predicting a 1-point game.

The Patriots took the victory on Sunday by a score of 24-23.

The only reason the game didn't go to overtime was because Falcons kicker Parker Romo missed a field goal for an extra point near the end of the matchup.

Patriots sophomore quarterback Drake Maye had an off day against the Falcons, fumbling the ball once on a strip-sack, which led to a Falcons touchdown.
