A woman has been arrested in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Lowell, Massachusetts, last week.

The Middlesex District Attorney's Office confirmed Tuesday that Channa Sath, 44 of Lowell, will be arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court. It was not immediately clear what charges she faces.

The crash happened on the 700-block of Chelmsford Street around 11:55 p.m. Thursday, according to police. The victim, a pedestrian, was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. She has not been publicly identified.

Police released surveillance photos of a vehicle of interest. Later Monday, they said that vehicle had been located.
