BENTON, Mo. (WSIL) -- The Scott County Sheriff's Office arrested Stephen Bean from Morley, Missouri recently. Bean faces several charges in connection to an incident which the sheriff's office said happened in Scott County over several days.

Bean faces charges of domestic assault, second-degree kidnapping, resisting arrest, first-degree trespass, and second-degree property damage.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies responded on November 2, to a domestic disturbance where Bean allegedly assaulted a victim by restricting her breathing.

During the incident, the probable cause statement said Bean restrained the victim and resisted arrest, requiring deputies to use a taser to take him into custody. It also stated he allegedly entered the victim's home unlawfully and damaged
