BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — A Bulloch County woman has been found guilty after allegedly interfering with evidence in a deadly crash investigation.
Genevieve Lanier has been found guilty by a jury on charges of tampering with evidence and criminal trespass.
After a fatal UTV crash in Bulloch County back in March, the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) secured the vehicle as evidence. Officials later discovered that Lanier had attempted to interfere with the evidence and access property related to the case, according to the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office.
Sentencing will be held at a later date.
