Hollywood actress Diane Ladd, mother of movie star Laura Dern, has passed away aged 89, with the Jurassic Park star releasing moving details from the moment she passed.

Ladd starred in multiple films, including Wild At Heart and Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, and was Oscar-nominated for her work, which spanned from 1949 to 2022.

Confirming Ladd’s death, Dern revealed she was by he mother’s side as she passed away.

“My amazing hero and my profound gift of a mother, Diane Ladd, passed with me beside her this morning, at her home in Ojai, Ca,” Dern said in a statement.

“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created

“We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”
