WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The United States has issued new North Korea-related sanctions that target Chinese and North Korean individuals and institutions, the Treasury Department website showed on Tuesday.
The secondary sanction designations include eight individuals from North Korea, China and Russia.
A tech company, Korea Mangyongdae Computer Technology Corp., and the Ryujong Credit Bank of North Korea, also were listed on the Treasury website.
Secondary sanctions penalize third parties for engaging in prohibited transactions with countries or entities already under sanctions.
